Mary Marg Helgenberger is een Amerikaans actrice geboren op 16 november 1958 in Fremont, Nebraska. In 1984 ontmoette ze Alan Rosenberg, met wie ze in 1989 trouwde. Ongeveer een jaar later kregen ze een zoontje, Hugh, geboren op 21 oktober 1990. Ze woont momenteel in Los Angeles, samen met haar zoontje en man.
Zij is vooral bekend van CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, waar ze de rol van Catherine Willows speelt. Al jaren daarvoor speelde ze in de succesvolle televisieserie China Beach de rol van KC Koloski, waar ze ook een Emmy voor won.
